Another Endless Workout

Another workout down
Today I survived another workout at Endless Possibilities. Today I worked bench, pullups on a rope that required a good degree of concentration to keep from swining, band extension and band tricep extensions, and then rope pulls with a weighted sled followed by running the sled back down the room. Overall great workout.

First day of personal training
I have been having a great deal of complications with my ribs in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, specifically - they keep popping out. This causes a considerable amount of pain and almost keeps my completely off the mats for several weeks. I have also found that I am not as athletic as I want to be. I mean, I lift a bit and run a great deal, and I feel I have great cardio jiu-jitsu-wise, but I don't feel as coordinated, explosive, or as resistant as I want to be.
At the suggestion of a few other teammates I enrolled in a personal training program with Brett Carter at Endless Possibilities. The first round of training was pretty good. It wasn't too intense overall, but Brett kept me at a constant pace that certainly taxed my abilities. I worked a box squats, lunges, back extensions, and pushes on a weight sled. Overall it was a great workout.
I will be at Endless twice a week and am certainly looking forward to further workouts and getting much more explosive.
